“In october I was invited by Bubista Wind & Wave association for a international competition in Boavista Island in Cape Verde, Africa. I was in Cape Verde before but on a different island called Sal with my friend Dave. But this island was a lot different, more waves, more shore break, and a lot more to explore. There was good fish to eat, good waves, and good friends from different locations, including Spain, USA, Portugal, and Sal Island locals. The competition was one day only, but with some really fun conditions that would be considered perfect in many contests I have been in my life. Thanks to everyone at Boavista, and off course the man behind everything, Agostinho Pereira.”
