RECAP | 2025 Sea Bright Skim Bash in Sea Bright, NJ
The 21st annual Sea Bright Skim Bash in New Jersey has just wrapped up and ended the 2025 SkimUSA tour on a very high note! With varying conditions and weather all weekend, the Zap team made the best of it, demonstrating their wide range of abilities and versatility in all conditions, all with big smiles on their faces!

NEWS | Surf Expo 2025 in Orlando, FL
Surf Expo went down last week in Orlando, FL, and Zap was right in the middle of the action, hanging out and talking skimboarding with everyone who stopped by! The vibe was electric from the moment the doors opened, and it was awesome seeing so many familiar faces alongside new riders checking us out for the first time. We rolled in with the full collection of USA handmade boards and it was a blast showing them off to both dealers and riders who were eager to see what’s new for 2026.

INFO | 21st Annual SkimBash in Sea Bright, NJ (9/6-9/7)
SkimBash is heading back to Sa Bright, NJ on Sept. 6-7th for the 21st Annual event! This year’s SkimBash is set to be the best yet, with riders from all over the country coming in to compete. Taking place in Laguna Beach, CA, this contest has seen some of skim’s heaviest contest riding over the years. With the contest site being nestled right next to the famous Balboa Pier, known for heavy shore pound, the stage was set for an epic time.

EVENT | Florida Pro/Am & The Vic Are Both Next Weekend!
We’ve got two awesome events going down the weekend of August 23-24th – the Florida Pro/Am, presented by RDS, and THE VIC, presented by Victoria Skimboards. These events will be happening on opposite ends of the country with the FL Pro/Am taking place in Vilano Beach, St. Augustine FL while The Vic is taking place in Aliso Beach, CA! EVENT| 2025 Zap World Championships (Day 3)
The 2025 Zap Pro/Am has come to a close and there are not enough words to cover all the epicness that happened this weekend! After a full morning of pros only, the amateurs got their center stage moment, and they shined bright like the stars they are!! Walking onto McKinley Street, on a bright and sunny Sunday morning, the conditions had cleaned up the best that they were going to get all weekend with a 5mph NE wind that gave the swell some flavor, and a solid 2’-3’ foot bump still pushing through, you just knew it was going to be a memorable day! There was a wave for everyone, goofy bowls, reggy wraps, and sneaky liners that would carry you any direction, it was awesome!
