It is that time of the year again for the Vilano Pro/AM Skim contest and Crossover Tour. This contest is usually hit or miss for fun skim. Hopefully this year will be a good one! Here is some information taken from the RUNDROPSLIDE website.
“Lodging…Rooms are filling up on Vilano Beach but a new sponsor for this year and future Fl Skimboading Pro/Am’s is the Magnuson Hotel just 3 miles from the contest site.

The event itself is filling up quickly but there’s still plenty of time to get your entries and fees in before the deadline!! PLEASE get them in so you avoid the $10.00 late fee. It’s expensive enough so don’t wait until the last minute !!!….you can use the $10 you’ll save on Red Stripe or Sierra Nevada during the Fl Skimboarders Crossover Tour Movie premier Saturday night….
This years Premier will be at Mojo’s on Vilano!! I-Vibes will be jamming in the parking lot after the conclusion of Saturday’s heats and lead us to David Jame’s edit of this years Fl Skimboarders Crossover Tour!!! Hooray for Mojo’s – I-Vibes – Red Stripe and Sierra Nevada!!!
Mojo’s is the spot for the Official Pro’s V.I.P. party hosted by Red Stripe and Sierra Nevada !!! Free BEER for all competing Professional Skimboarders (OF AGE that is)until it runs out…the party is free to everyone, so come get some great food and meet all the Pro’s from this years Fl Skimboarding Pro/Am. You’ll be able to get autographs and as many selfies as you can take with them!!
