Shaka Gnar 2024 was the Best. Day. Ever!
Once a year, Caleb Would Go holds their annual fundraiser at the north jetty to bring the community together for a fun filled day. This is the third year they have done it, and the event continues to grow.
Caleb would go is a local nonprofit that was formed in memory of the late Caleb Bell. The mission of the organization is to raise funds to empower more adventurous missionaries that have traits similar to Caleb.
This is not your typical nonprofit fundraiser. There are six events that take up the whole day with the winner of each event usually being the competitor having the most fun. This year there was a paddleboard relay race, a skim competition, a mini ramp contest, sand sculptures, murals, and beach flags.
There is always music, great food, and ending the event with a night of worship during sunset.
We love having the opportunity to bring the community together for a great cause in remembrance of an amazing man.
Can’t wait for Shaka Gnar 2025 !!!! Check out all the photos from this year's event below.
