**Skimboard Contest in Dahican – A Dream Come True**

December 1st, I had the privilege of organizing a skimboard contest in the beautiful shores of Dahican, Philippines, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. The weather was perfect with a sunny sky, and the waves were just the right size for the riders to showcase their skills. Over 20 talented kids, all hungry for the spotlight, came together for an epic day of competition and camaraderie.

It’s been a long-time dream of mine to organize a contest here, and after 15 years of admiring this incredible spot, I finally made it happen. Dahican is known for its perfect conditions and, more importantly, the talented young riders who call this place home. Among them is Sonny Boy, our local superstar, whose influence and expertise helped make this event truly unforgettable. With his help, the contest ran smoothly and was filled with high-energy moments, with the kids pulling off some mind-blowing technical tricks and maneuvers.

Coming all the way from Portugal with my girlfriend Joana, we instantly felt at home in Dahican. The community here is tight-knit and welcoming, and anyone with a skimboard or a skim company tag is instantly considered part of the family. It’s an amazing feeling to be embraced like that, and it was an honor to be a part of it.

A huge thank you to Zap Skimboards for sponsoring the event and providing awesome prizes that the kids will cherish forever. It’s moments like these that inspire the next generation of riders, and I know these kids will never forget this day.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event such a success, from the riders to the supporters. The vibes were nothing short of amazing, and I can’t wait to come back and do it all again!
