The 16th annual Mulligan’s Skim Jam took place on September 2nd in Vero Beach, Florida hosted by Shore LB. This was also the final stop of the 2023 Shore LB Triple Crown circuit & it was our very own Gerardo Valencia securing the number seat this year!
Despite the conditions, our Zap team showed up and showed out! In the pro division, the fans got quite the show while Yahir Valencia went head to head with big brother Gerardo Valencia! Sharing waves and trading tricks back and forth, it was Gerardo who managed to secure the victory. In the “Going Pro Tomorrow” division (semi-pro) Dylan Duncan has been shining throughout the 2023 season. Snagging podium finishes at every event, he finally decided it was time and made the announcement that he would be going pro for the next season. Congrats Dylan! We can't wait to see what you do this upcoming year.
It was overall a great contest day. The vibes stayed high throughout the night for the award ceremony where the winners and the Triple Crown Kings were awarded with Gerardo Valencia taking the honor for pro and Dylan Duncan making it happen in semi-pro. Thanks to Mulligan’s and Shore Lb for putting on an awesome contest and series!
