The first day of the Oktoberfest Event at Balboa Pier was great. The weather was perfect and the skim was fun, lining up from north to south. Team riders Jason Wilson, John Akerman, James Lovett, Dave Scott, and Sam Mccoy all competed in the event. Jason, James, and John all advanced past the first round. They all caught some good rides in round 2 but not enough to advance to the semi’s. Good luck to AM rider Sam McCoy who is still in the event tomorrow! Here are some photos from today.
