The Vilano Beach Pro/Am event started yesterday(Friday) afternoon with some professional and amateur heats. Waves were pretty fun and had good size. Today(Day2) of the event was very similar with a slight increase in swell size. Hurricane Isaac sent us some good waves for the event but unfortunately also brought some onshore wind making it a bit difficult. Nonetheless the Zap team made the most of the condition finding some really good waves in the tough conditions. Congrats to all the Zap competitors who advanced to the final day of the competition tomorrow, check back here tomorrow night for the contest results and more photos.
