THROWBACK | 2020 Team Photoshoot
At Zap, of course we love to build boards, but we like to ride them even more! Some of our favorite times skimming is when we can get the team together for a photoshoot to get shots of the new year product! We’re going to throw it back to our 2020 team photoshoot with riders Gerardo Valencia, ET Beaugrand, Naji Taha, Monster, Max Smetts, and John Akerman. Check out some of those photos below!

2024 OBX Skim Jam Podiums
Alex Yokley and Gio Tomasi take top honors at the 2024 OBX Skim Jam!
This past weekend our team traveled to Nags Head, NC for the 2024 Outer Banks Skim Jam at Jennette’s Pier. This competition is part of Skim USA tour and a stop for the men’s professionals on the United Skim Tour. With approximately 170 pro/am competitors and a pro purse of $15,000 it was the largest and biggest paying skim competition this year!

2024 TAC Skimblast Quick Recap
The TAC Skimblast went down this past weekend and, just like every year, it was a sick time! What made it even more special this year was the fact that it was the 10th anniversary for the event! A solid crew of Zap team riders made the trek out to Santa Cruz, CA to compete including Gerardo Valencia, Dylan Duncan, Mason Broussard and Leo Freitas. The conditions were firing and the crew was shredding.

“Siders at Solmar” - The Zap Team Takes on CABO!
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is a very special place for skimboarders. With some of the biggest and best waves any rider could ask for, it has been known as a “proving grounds” for up-and-comers to seasoned pros for years. Team Zap made the journey down south to participate in the El Rey De Lover’s contest but you know we had to get some free-riding in as well!

2024 Jackalope Fest PHOTOS
Jackalope Fest 2024 went off like no other! It was such a sick weekend in Virginia Beach with the crew as we enjoyed the skimming, skating, biking, base jumping, and more at Jackalope. The crowd was there, the vibes were high, and by the end of the weekend, the podium had a lot of Zap on it! Yahir Valencia Wins El Rey De Lovers!
